Can it detect ChatGPT text?

It detects writing patterns typical of ChatGPT and other LLMs. No AI detector is 100% accurate, so treat the result as supporting evidence, especially for short, edited, or deliberately obfuscated text.

Does the online text checker store my writing?

Online checks run on a private Mac server, are deleted after processing, and are not shared with third-party AI providers. Native app checks run on-device.

Is there a word limit?

The browser checker accepts up to 20,000 characters per submission; split longer documents into parts. The iPhone and Mac apps do not have a per-document cap. Free users have limited daily checks, and Pro removes the daily check cap in the app.
